The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have locked and loaded the cannons for the 2018 season and are firing off a new concept at Raymond James Stadium, just in time for their home opener on Sunday, September 16th against the reigning Super Bowl Champion, Philadelphia Eagles. The new beach-theme concept is appropriately named, “Bucs Beach” and is located just outside of the stadium on the South Plaza footprint (Tom McEwen Blvd).
“Bucs Beach is meant to create an experience in how we re-imagined the South Plaza space,” Atul Khosla, Bucs Chief Corporate Development and Brand Officer, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
“You will find everything from sand to the chairs, hammocks, tiki huts, local artists, food trucks, [Street Laced] DJ’s entertaining the crowds and corporate partners activating in that space,” Khosla said.
“We could not be more thrilled to add to the excitement and entertainment of the ALL NEW Bucs Beach”, said Blaise Potts, President of Street Laced Marketing.
“We understand the vision the Buccaneer’s organization wants to create for their fans, and this new area will surely add to the game day experience. With the caliber of local/national talent and entertainers that Street Laced brings to the table, the Buccaneers made the right choice in partnering with us. We are ready to get to work!”
Street Laced will be handling all entertainment aspects for the new Bucs Beach, including a rotation of Tampa Bay’s most popular DJ’s on the Bud Light Party Ship, as well as a rotation of local Tampa Bay hosts and emcees, artists & painters (LIVE ART), roving & stationary entertainers, kids zone enhancements and social media engagement, just to name a few of the new additions. There will also be food trucks and specialty items, partnership activation areas, interactive photo opportunities and so much more.

Street Laced has also secured a NEW In-Game feature for the 2018 season, with the addition of Street Laced DJ’s own, DJ Ekin, as the newest entertainment element inside Raymond James Stadium. Ekin will be DJ’ing LIVE from the Buccaneers Pirate Ship during the pre-game festivities! If you find yourself moving and grooving before kick-off, you can thank DJ Ekin for providing the soundtrack! The concept is the latest announcement at the stadium, which is wrapping up its $160 million renovation.
