The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have locked and loaded the cannons for the 2022 NFL season and have once again brought back the GOAT, Tom Brady…and he has brought along the Captain’s of a ship named ‘Street Laced’ to dock it’s fierce krewe upon Raymond James Stadium at the beach-themed destination, appropriately named, “Bucs Beach”, located just outside of the stadium on the South Plaza footprint (Tom McEwen Blvd).
This is Street Laced’s fifth straight year handling the entertainment, sound & staging, DJ’s, emcee’s, artists and everything in between, at what has become THE place to pre-game at Ray Jay with your fellow Bucs Nation faithful…and even razz fans of the opposing team. It’s family fun for EVERYONE.
“Bucs Beach is meant to create an experience in how we re-imagined the South Plaza space,” Atul Khosla, Bucs Chief Corporate Development and Brand Officer, told the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
“You will find everything from sand to the chairs, hammocks, tiki huts, local artists, food trucks, [Street Laced] DJ’s entertaining the crowds and corporate partners activating in that space,” Khosla said.
“We could not be more thrilled to continue to add to the excitement on Buccaneer game days. Entertaining fans is really our A-game and with Tom Brady and most of the entire squad coming back this season, it’s surely setting up to be one of the most exciting yet,” said Blaise Potts, President of Street Laced Marketing. “We have worked diligently with the Buccaneers organization during the off-season and we are ready to really bring things up a notch this year! We understand the vision the Buccaneers’ organization has created for their fans, and this area has surely added to the game day experience. With the caliber of local/national talent and entertainers that Street Laced brings to the table, the Buccaneers made the right choice in partnering with us for a fitfh straight season”, said Potts.
Street Laced will be handling all entertainment aspects for Bucs Beach, including Tampa Bay’s most popular DJ’s, Street Laced DJ’s own DJ Jimi-O and DJ Shizm (95.7 The Beat), who play the roles of Lifeguard (host) and party rockers on the beach, local Tampa Bay artists (live art installations) including the very talented Geary “Rasta” Taylor , roving entertainers, LED robots, stilt walkers, acrobatic performers, dance crews, and so much more! There will be plenty of sights and sounds you’ll see this season on the beach that will WOW you, including the return of the Bucs Beat Line (drumline), Pre-Game Pirate Invasion, Cheer Squad performances and more!
There are also food trucks, vendors, specialty items, partnership activation areas, interactive photo opportunities and so much more in front of Bucs Beach on Tom McEwen Blvd.
But, we’re not just done there!
Street Laced has once again secured DJ Ekin as another entertainment element inside Raymond James Stadium. Ekin will be DJ’ing LIVE from the Buccaneers Treasure Chest during the pre-game & halftime festivities! You might even hear Ekin getting you pumped up during the game with the Bucs Beach Line, he may be doing routines with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders (will he dance too?). He might even invade your seating area with Captain Fear and Buccaneers swag! If you find yourself moving and grooving inside the stadium, you can thank DJ Ekin for providing the soundtrack!
The concept of Bucs Beach was one of the newest additions at the stadium during the 2018 season, which was on the cusp of its $160 million renovation completion.
