From TampaBayStorm.com:

Biz, one of the industry’s most notable artists and DJs, brings over 30 years of hip hop knowledge to Amalie Arena. The New York native gained notoriety in his neighborhood for beat boxing and rhyming. In 1988, Biz released his debut album, Goin’ Off, which included the hits “Make the Music With Your Mouth, Biz,” “Nobody Beats The Biz,” and “Vapors.”

Biz Markie went on to release his second studio album, The Biz Never Sleeps, in 1989, which included the hit single, “Just a Friend.” The song would become Markie’s most successful single, reaching #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Just a Friend” was certified platinum in 1990 and would also be named one of the 100 Greatest Hip Hop songs of all time by VH1.
