If you’ve lived in the Tampa Bay area for the last decade or more, there is almost certainty that an event YOU have attended, has been powered by Street Laced or a Street Laced DJ.
Our roster is one of the strongest, well-rounded and diverse group of individuals representing the DJ community in our city.
However, that doesn’t mean we just leave things how they are.
We are ALWAYS looking to get better and stronger, and increase our availability to do MORE events throughout the Bay area and beyond.
With that being said, it is with GREAT pleasure to announce today that Street Laced has officially added three more very talented individuals to the Street Laced DJ’s family.
We officially welcome, DJ Matt Dodge, International DJ Maria Matarelli & DJ Danny D2 Vargas!

With a background and degree in Film Production, DJ Matt Dodge became interested in becoming a DJ by making his own mashups in Video Editing software. Fast forward to present, He has over 6 years under his belt at various Clubs, Bars and Restaurants from Port Charlotte to Clearwater. Matt has done numerous weddings as well as private events and everything in between. Matt considers himself an Open Format DJ who likes to takes chances when he spins. He is never afraid to drop an NSYNC or Britney Spears song at midnight. Constantly writing down ideas and thinking of different ways to make mixes, Matt has gotten the reputation of being an out of the box and creative DJ. Recently this has landed him the gig of being the In-Game DJ at the Atlanta Braves Spring Training facility. Weekly you can find him at Off the Wagon in Venice and The Gator Club in Sarasota.
Maria Matarelli is an International DJ that performs across the world with locations including Fiji, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Dubai, France, Germany, India, the Caribbean, and throughout the U.S. Maria has been requested to DJ at private islands, 5 star resorts, clubs and day pools, along with private events and conferences with thousands of attendees. As an open format DJ, Maria is able to provide customized sets for a variety of different environments as she has learned to adapt her style to fit cultures across the world and brings the energy to create an unforgettable experience for audiences of all types. Maria has always had a knack for putting together playlists and mixing music. Growing up, she used to make custom mix tapes on cassettes. Now, she creates custom mixes for luxury limo companies, provides the right ambiance with music for private events, global conferences, and performs live at nightclubs and day clubs around the world. With a background in business consulting, Maria is also a keynote speaker and MC, able to provide inspirational talks and insightful takeaways for any audience.
“Everybody walks to the beat of their own drum, I have the unique opportunity to find the beat that syncs the crowd together“. DJ D2 prides himself as being a true “open format” DJ. Originally from The Bronx, New York and raised in Central Florida, D2 knew at a young age that he had a passion not only for music, but also the entertainment industry as a whole. D2 is no stranger to the popular music scene, holding residencies at some of the hottest venues in Tampa! Although he loves playing and nightclubs, bars and big stage venues, his love for music goes beyond the flashing lights! As a very active member in our Tampa Bay community, D2 makes it a priority to give back to the city that he calls HOME. He has participated in several events for The American Cancer Society, Warriors for Autism and many other non-profit events as the the head of music entertainment.
