On Saturday morning, over 2000 runners laced up the sneakers and hit the pavement in downtown Tampa and Bayshore Boulevard for the Chick-Fil-A 5th Annual Fall Stampede benefiting the Children’s Cancer Center. Street Laced had quite the task to provide the soundtrack for all participants in the event with three separate Street Laced DJ’s spread out throughout the city. DJ Special Ed was set up at the main stage area in Cotanchobee Park, behind Amalie Arena which was the main race headquarters and post-race party location. DJ LeSage and host Greg Wolf were set up at the Start/Finish line to get the blood flowing for all participants and for the family fun walkers as well. Half-way down along the course on Bayshore Blvd at Rome Ave., we also had Street Laced DJ, Speedy Jr. to provide additional music and encouragement to let racers know they are halfway complete! The day was amazing and to see so much support from the Tampa Bay community to help over 1000 families in the area dealing with childhood cancer was truly spectacular. We thank Chick-Fil-A for utilizing Street Laced for their entertainment needs and look forward to a budding relationship with them and the Children’s Cancer Center!
