On Tuesday, December 29th, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa threw our Vice President, Greg Wolf, a #Fantasic40 Birthday Bash that seemed to bring out the “who’s who” of the Tampa radio world. It’s no surprise that when Greg has a party, Tampa Bay comes out to support. With an incredible lineup of DJ’s, Greg wanted to celebrate the last four decades of his life. DJ Coz (WiLD 94.1) started off the night with an hour of all 70’s music, while DJ Sandman (95.7 The Beat) followed him with an all 80’s set! DJ Jaime Ferreira (93.3 WFLZ) got the ladies in a frenzy after that with an all 90’s set, complete with Backstreet & N’Sync mixes mashed with Pharcyde and Public Enemy. Was surely a highlight of the night! However, DJ King JB (WiLD 94.1) surely didn’t miss a note as he closed out the night with an all 2000’s mix. Amazing night of music for sure. All in the while, a scroll of pictures flowed on the TV monitors throughout the Hard Rock Cafe, taking us on a stroll down memory lane in Greg’s life. The Hard Rock presented Greg with an electric guitar for all of his friend and family in attendance to sign, which was a really cool and smooth move by them. The drinks were powered by Belvedere Vodka and Hard Rock Energy, which probably explains why the line to take pictures with Greg was so long all night! A fantastic time was surely had by all!
